Bold Thinking is currently hosting a web-based platform to further develop a culture of opportunity in the Midwest Native American Tribal Nations. This educational platform will serve as a learning tool and social community to both transfer entrepreneurial competencies and increase the capacity to think and act entrepreneurially.
The Native American New Enterprise Program is an educational online program designed to further develop a culture of opportunity in the Midwest Native American Tribal Nations. The program is not a competition with winners and losers, but a skill set development program that empowers nascent entrepreneurs with resources and networks. We help participants enhance their entrepreneurial competency and guide them on how to grow and operate a business. Participants will also have the opportunity to pursue enterprise development funds, loans and private equity investors.
Our hope is that this program provides participants with a renewed inspiration to pursue life-changing goals through the practical experience of launching or growing a venture. We also hope that participants are able to use this program as a learning tool as well as a social community to both transfer entrepreneurial competencies and increase the capacity to think and act entrepreneurially.
Program Content
The Native American New Enterprise program is designed like an online course, which can be accessed on the Internet at any time. We have designed it so that entrepreneurs can work on it when it is convenient for them. Throughout the program, we will have a number of different resources available such as:
Some of the activities such as the conference calls and online chats will have a schedule, but the majority of these entrepreneurs can do at their convenience. All of these activities are designed to help develop the individual’s business.
By the end of the program, the course will deliver more than 50 hours of listenable and downloadable content that will provide a complete spectrum of entrepreneur tools and knowledge. This program is more than a ‘how-to’ site for writing a business plan. The course will cover the complete journey of the entrepreneur from idea to business concept development to feasibility planning to business plan and investor presentations. The course features a path for those completely new to business and those with previous business education or experience.
